A poem.
Too long have I sat back
and let life pass me by.
Never trying to achieve better,
feeling as there was no use to try.
Now I look back
at the shadows of my past.
Compared to then,
now the days move too fast.
Just now learning
what my life could be.
Finally, for once,
opening my eyes to see.
Will all my goals be met?
Only time will tell.
By my one doing I will determine
whether I succeed or fail.

I know now,
what I wish I knew then.
Now it is time to grow up
and stop playing pretend.
I have a lot of work in store
making up for the time I lost,
by letting fear and lack of confidence
be my boss.
I have a long road
from which I can not stray
if I choose to be successful
come some future day.

A Letter To The President
From Brad this week... Get to him just below...

Brad has something to ask the Predident...
This letter is in response to the US Government Under President Obama prosecuting three navy seals for an incident in which a prisoner was allegedly punched. The prisoner was responsible for the Deaths and Mutilations of four US citizens.

Dear Mr. President,
It has come to my attention that our military is currently in the process of prosecuting 3 navy seals for allegedly hitting a detainee. I find this development disgusting. These are our men and if they happened to bloody the lip of a man that killed 4 of our people and hung their burned bodies from a bridge I state unequivocally that the punch was justified. As an American citizen I want to make it very clear that I stand behind the actions of our men and that even though it may have been wrong to punch the murderer it certainly does not warrant any punishment beyond a simple reprimand.
As President of the United States of America you have the ability to pardon these soldiers. If you do not exercise this ability you are siding with the enemy yet again and no longer warrant the respect of myself or the American People. Your administration has made a mockery of our military and this is an opportunity for you to stand up and do what is right. Are you going to side with the American people Mr. President or are you going to side with the terrorists?
I take liberty and freedom very seriously as do those men who lay their lives on the line every day. Our enemies do not deserve the same protection as our citizens. Let me make it crystal clear. I do not condone the striking of a prisoner, but at the same time I will not stand by while our government turns on the men who protect us all. If you are no longer on the side of our soldiers I humbly ask you to step down as commander and chief for you have lost the confidence of all of America.
God Bless America,
Brad O’Neill

Love is Like Kudzu
This is a satirical poem about love, lol .. accompanied by the video "Love bites"
Duffs challenge 15, damaged goods and rainbows.
Love is like Kudzo
a creeping vine that
smothers every under it
until it dies

Love is like poison
a venomous potion
that evaporates the notion
of logic

Love is like a bee sting
you think you have
the real thing
then it’s gone and burns

Love is like an ego trip
that makes you flip
your script
and fall on your face
Love is weird when you love the wrong one of damaged goods arrayed in colors of the rainbow, lol
